Day-to-Day:
We seek an Installation Technician to join Leidos, one of our top defense, aviation, and IT clients in San Diego, CA to assist in installing inspection systems.
- Install and commission various inspection systems, including Mid-Energy Portals (MEP), Low Energy Portals (LEP), IP6500 Vehicle and Cargo Inspection Systems (VACIS), and Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) systems.
- Identify and correct equipment start-up malfunctions.
- Provide technical support for equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer or factory locations.
- Achieve weekly project installation goals within set deadlines.
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful equipment and system installations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, both orally and in writing.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Able to read and follow assembly documents
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
- HS Diploma
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport to support OCONUS travel
Pay:
$31hr + per diem
